My story

(01)

Your marketing should generate revenue, not just activity.

I'm Gregory De Rocher—a creative, Vancouver-based B2B marketing consultant who helps companies turn underperforming marketing into growth engines. I create data-driven, AI-integrated marketing strategies for companies that are ready to scale.

I founded sequenceDM a decade ago and have worked with startups, founders, creative agencies, solar companies, animation studios, and brand teams to implement systems that drive measurable results. Otter Energy achieved 3× revenue growth, Gepeto raised $1.2M following our go-to-market strategy, and DoProcess built a brand that ultimately led to an acquisition.

Prior to sequenceDM, I spent 17 years leading digital marketing at Fidelity Investments Canada. That experience shaped a disciplined approach: brand trust compounds over time, but can erode quickly—and tactics without strategy waste budget.

I also bring 30 years in the creative industries as a recording artist (Lowfish), co-founder of Suction Records, and marketing lead for animation studios and design agencies. I understand firsthand how creative businesses grow—and where they get stuck.

Today, I combine proven marketing fundamentals with AI-powered tools to help companies scale more effectively—whether through marketing audits, brand strategy, or lead-generation systems.

Approach

(02)

A bias towards measurable ROI and business impact. Build everything with purpose.

You fought hard for your marketing budget. Platforms like Google, Meta, and LinkedIn et al will gladly take your money—but without a clear strategy, you'll burn cash on impressions that never become paying clients.

I've seen this a lot: random tactics, inconsistent messaging, and campaigns that look good in reports but don't move revenue. Meanwhile, better-positioned competitors take market share you should own.

My approach is different. Every campaign must be measurable. Every dollar must earn its place. I double down on what works, cut what doesn't, and never confuse activity with results.

But here's what really drives growth: understanding your customers deeply and solving their problems clearly. Get that right, and revenue follows.

Ready to stop guessing? Email me and let's build a strategy that actually delivers.
